Meet Claire Breedlove, LCSW

I’m a coach, licensed clinical social worker, university professor, mom, and practicing Latter-day Saint. I help thoughtful, capable people build trust in themselves, make meaningful decisions, and move forward toward their goals and values with greater clarity and confidence.

My career has taken me from international policy and diplomacy to clinical practice and teaching. As a former U.S. State Department diplomat and policy advisor at the World Bank, Chevron and Palantir Technologies, I worked with people navigating complex challenges and big decisions. As a therapist, I’ve helped people recognize how fear, perfectionism, and self-doubt can keep them from living the lives they want.

Across these settings, I’ve seen how easy it is for conscientious people to get stuck—overthinking a decision, looking for everyone else’s approval, or waiting to feel completely ready before taking the next step. My coaching creates space to clarify what matters to you, recognize your strengths, and turn that understanding into action.

Our work might focus on helping you move beyond overthinking and perfectionism, trusting your judgement and making decisions with confidence, or navigating uncertainty and life transitions. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in your way and develop practical steps toward your goals.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. Coaching can help you trust your judgment and take your next steps with purpose and confidence.
